Friday the 4th was a great night for Italo Stars in the Anzac Cup competition with both teams taking the win. Our Open B team took on Dunnon and had a 4-0 win. Young guns Riley Condon-Hunniett, Jack Kerrison and Reg Sharpe fpound the back of the net. Experienced striker Joe Boehm also bagged a goal.
Our Premier squad took on last years semi finalist Alstonville and got a 2-1 win. Great team work and determination got the boys home, with Shaun McDonald and Wayne Mortimer getting a goal each to bring the boys of Barrow Lane their first win of the season.
